Festival producers have formed a partnership with digital platform specialists Punq in utilizing cell phone technology to create and encouraging interaction between the festival, audience, artists and brands supporting the festival. Punq's services before, during and after the festival offer festival updates (before and during the festival), audience interaction, music downloads of featured artists and developing OBZfestival's digital, social network. The introductory year of OBZdigital is a collaborative project between Artists, Festival Producers and the Punq team
